鎬象嵌角皿（プレート）/ “SHINOGI-ZOGAN” plate

陶芸家の大上裕樹氏にオーダーした鎬象嵌(しのぎぞうがん)のプレートです。

こちらの角皿は、中心部の光沢感と隅のざらざらとした手触りが特徴的な四角形のプレートです。四辺は上に持ち上がっていて、盛り付けた料理やデザートを引き立ててくれるデザインです。

【器の特徴】
丹波焼の伝統技法に独自の表現を加えた「鎬象嵌(しのぎぞうがん)」という技法を用いて作られています。鎬象嵌とは、素地の一部を縦に削り取り、再び素地を埋め込むことで幾何学模様を創り出す技法で、通常の何倍もの時間と工程を経て生み出されています。土の温かみとスタイリッシュさが共存した作品です。

[“SHINOGI-ZOGAN” plate]
Custom made plate by potter Yuki Ogami using the “SHINOGI-ZOGAN” technique.

The glossy look in the center and the rough surface of the edge are some of the features of this square plate. The four corners are slightly bent upwards and bring out the beauty of the dish served.


[Product Description]
“SHINOGI-ZOGAN”technique used in this plate is based on the traditional TANBAYAKI technique with a bit of originality added. It is a ceramic inlay technique where the surface of the pottery is carved and then clay of other colors is inlaid to make a design. This technique requires a lot of process and time. Earthy classy creation.
