鎬象嵌丸皿（ソーサー）/ “SHINOGI-ZOGAN” saucer

陶芸家の大上裕樹氏にオーダーした鎬象嵌(しのぎぞうがん)のソーサーです。

取り皿や食材を盛り付けるお皿として使い勝手の良い大きさです。表面はざらざらとした質感で、その佇まいはお料理の魅力を引き立ててくれます。カフェではマグカップと合わせて、カップ＆ソーサーとしてコーヒーを出しています。

【器の特徴】
丹波焼の伝統技法に独自の表現を加えた「鎬象嵌(しのぎぞうがん)」という技法を用いて作られています。鎬象嵌とは、素地の一部を縦に削り取り、再び素地を埋め込むことで幾何学模様を創り出す技法で、通常の何倍もの時間と工程を経て生み出されています。土の温かみとスタイリッシュさが共存した作品です。

[“SHINOGI-ZOGAN” saucer]
Custom made saucer by potter Yuki Ogami using the “SHINOGI-ZOGAN” technique.

Good size to be used not only as a saucer but as well as a serving plate. With its rough surface it brings out the appeal of the dish. At Gojo Cafe we serve coffee using this saucer with its matching cup.


[Product Description]
“SHINOGI-ZOGAN” technique used in this plate is based on the traditional TANBAYAKI technique with a bit of originality added. It is a ceramic inlay technique where the surface of the pottery is carved and then clay of other colors is inlaid to make a design. This technique requires a lot of process and time. Earthy classy creation.
